What is a Geriatric Care Manager?

A Geriatric Care Manager (GCM), often referred to as an elder care manager, is a qualified professional who has specialized education, knowledge and experience related to elder care issues. The Geriatric Care Manager is an experienced guide and support to family members who are trying to manage an elder's care from afar. Geriatric Care Managers are expert problem solvers and provide and coordinate the services and resources needed by elderly persons.
