The geriatric care manager assistant can be brought in to perform specific tasks on an as-needed basis which might include taking a client to a dental or podiatry appointment or arranging for therapeutic shoes/equipment. The “assistant” might accompany a client to an outpatient procedure or diagnostic test, ensure proper preparation for same as well as provide transportation and support.
